Wednesday:

Etymology: Odin's Day.

What I use it for: Odin (or Wodin) is the God of War, Nobility, Death, Poetry, and many other things. Because of His standing as father of the Gods, I worship the Shining Ones on this day. This is the first ritual of the week where I give sacrifice and expect to receive something back through my opening of heart and mind.  I give a gift of grain and wine (when I'm rich enough), and open myself to their words. Most often, I can feel their presence and hear their words.
