Talamunê Râdû: Working with Nature

In re-working the ADF Dedicant Path, I have completed another requirement: the Nature Awareness requirement. This requires that a Dedicant demonstrate how he or she works with nature, honours the earth, and understands their impacts. It also requires that the student find ways to make a difference locally. . .

Indo-European Function Triads

Indo-European society was divided into three "functions" by Georges Dumézil. With this came many speculations regarding what could be associated with those divisions. Whether the theory is ideal or not, it does make an interesting tool, so provided here is a table that lists many of the functions and associations. . .

The MK VII Gas Mask Bag

The MK VII Gas Mask Bag (aka MK VII Respirator Bag) is the bag used by Indiana Jones in the movies by the same name. It's a great bag for holding all things that bring fortune and glory. I recently acquired a MK VII (Mark Seven) gas mask bag from What Price Glory. The bag itself is in unissued condition, and was made in 1942. Since I had a devil of a time locating photos of this particular bag online, I thought I should add it to my own webpages for other Indy fans who might want to find one (or make one of their own).

The Marriage of Lugus and Rosmerta

Written for the Three Cranes Grove, ADF, 2007 Summer Solstice ritual, this poem was written more as the script for a play than anything else. While the poem was recited, actors portrayed the parts of Lugus and Rosmerta (and a few warriors). It was designed mostly to simply tell the story (as best as can be reconstructed)
