Discuss your view and understanding of the function of the Seer within ADF. (minimum 100 words)

The primary function of the seer in ADF is to serve a priestly function and to provide counseling to members who have no other means of support. I also feel that the Seers' Guild should have some say in how the vision of ADF is evaluated. At least once every three years (if not once per year), the Seers' Guild should take omens and inform the membership of the results. As a spiritual organization, we must be certain that we are not only meeting our own needs, but the needs of the Gods as well.

When questions of solitary clergy arise, and what value they are to the organization, I always point out that a seer does not need to be in the same place as a person to provide counseling, but that it can be done at a distance. I think a primary duty of ADF's seers is to provide such counseling to our isolated members.
